Step2 Hangers Mobile & Washer Door (142397) Installation Guide

Quick answer

To install the Step2 Hangers Mobile & Washer Door (142397), align the hinge pins with the washer door slots, press firmly until they click, then snap the mobile hangers onto the top rail of your play laundry set.

Installation steps

1. 1. Remove the old washer door (if applicable): If replacing a broken or missing door, gently pry off the old hinge pins from the washer door frame. Save any intact pins for reuse. Check that the hinge slots are clean and free of debris before installing the new door.
2. 2. Attach the washer door: Align the hinge pins on the new Step2 washer door (142397) with the slots on the washer door frame. Press firmly until you hear a click, indicating the pins are seated. If the door doesn't click, remove it and realign; forcing it may damage the pins.
3. 3. Install the mobile hangers: Snap the mobile hangers onto the top rail of your play laundry set. Ensure they are evenly spaced and securely attached. Test the hangers by gently tugging them; they should not slide off easily.
4. 4. Final check: Open and close the washer door to confirm smooth operation. Adjust the hangers if they interfere with the door swing. If the door sticks, check that the hinge pins are fully seated and the frame is not warped.
