My kids spent three hours rebuilding the course into different layouts, and the fact that all three paths connect to the central water tower kept them coming back to splash it again. Setup took maybe ten minutes, and it's held up fine on the lawn so far.
The water tower feature is the surprise hit here, my 6-year-old keeps sending balls down the ramp just to watch the splash. Setup took maybe ten minutes and the three course paths actually stay connected instead of popping apart.
My kids spent two hours rerouting the three course paths so the ball would drop right into the water tower, and they never once asked for a screen. The splash payoff at the end is what keeps them resetting it over and over.
